NHS states social physical activity would benefit people with conditions such as:
Coronary Heart Disease and Stroke: Bowel Cancer: Breast Cancer: Osteoarthritis: Hip Fracture: Falls: Depression and Anxiety: Dementia: Long COVID: Weight Management.
When the activity is in a social environment, it can also provide social support, motivation and fun.
Would you like to get more active, at your own pace, while learning badminton skills in a social environment, led by a friendly Activator?
If you are up for it, the sessions at Bedwell Community Centre, Stevenage, SG1 1NA will start on
Wednesday 4th October from 10.30am - 12.30pm.
Thanks to special funding, the cost is just £2 per session, including tea/coffee.
