'Love To Move' from the British Gymnastic Foundation combines gentle physical exercise with activities that target memory and coordination including dance and improvisation. The programme, based on Japanese research, was initially designed for those living with dementia and other neurological conditions but also benefits older adults wanting to maintain and improve memory and function. The specific exercises for mind and motor skills can be a challenge but it's the process that's important, not getting it "right". We have fun trying!
There's also time to contribute ideas and share memories and movement with the group.
Come and try something new for the New Year - and it's FREE!
Classes funded by the Community Fund.
